LGBTQIA+ DBT PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL GROUP
GROUP DESCRIPTION: This group is open to adult members of the community who identify within the LGBTQIA+ spectrum and are seeking additional education/supportive reflection tools to empower their sense of well-being and safety within the community. Topics will be focused and derived from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy strategies of mindfulness, distress tolerance and emotion regulation. Group members can utilize the discussion topics provided to further process with their individual clinical providers. The program is 8 weeks long and the cost is $55 per session. COMMUNITY LEARNING CIRCLE FOR WOMEN
This group is designed for women, age 30 and older, interested in building authentic, supportive and meaningful connections. The group will be an outlet to discuss all of life’s overwhelming responsibilities and learn coping skills to manage emotions in an uncertain world. Drawing inspiration from Brené Brown’s Braving the Wilderness, participants will explore topics such as belonging, self-expression, healthy boundaries, courageous conversations, and gratitude practices. Each week will include guided discussion, reflective exercises, and practical tools that participants can apply in their daily lives. After eight weeks, the hope is that this group of women maintain a supportive relationship that continues to grow. The group will meet in-person on Wednesdays from 6:15pm- 7:30pm beginning January 14th thru March 4th. The group size will be between 6-8 women. The cost is $40 per session.
